The Demi-Felians I met shared the warm nature found in their greater kim, living reflections of the basalt lovers that entwine above Sekhmet's Tomb.
History
Not a true species at all, Demi-Felians are one of several human subtypes. Having insufficient essence to ascend to a greater form, these peoples have sewn shards of essence into simple neckwear. The Lybossan patterns embossed upon the collar hint at the origins of the magics used to sustain the limited transformation.
A Demi-Felian lacks most of the agility of it's parent species whilst retaining almost all of their human vulnerabilities. Their first step towards ascension does make owning them as slaves somewhat taboo however, meaning that they often avoid the clutches of the slave traders cartel.
